Prof. Dorit Aram

There is widespread agreement regarding the importance of early life experiences, and the central role of early relationships between young children and adults. It is accepted that the quality of these experiences serves as the foundation for successful learning, optimal adaptation to society, and effective functioning in later life. In our lab, we study development in early childhood (birth-age eight) in its environments (family, educational framework, society). We explore the nature of interactions between parents, preschool teachers, elementary school teachers, and children and examine their impact on children’s development and wellbeing as well as adults’ wellbeing.
