Prof. Nitzan Censor

Prof. Censor received his M.Sc. in Physics (2005) and Ph.D. in Neurobiology (2009) from The Weizmann Institute of Science, studying perceptual learning and memory under the supervision of Prof. Dov Sagi. He then completed his post-doctoral training at The National Institutes of Health (NIH) with Dr. Leonardo Cohen, studying motor learning and memory. Nitzan is a faculty member at the School of Psychological Sciences and the Sagol School of Neuroscience.

Our research investigates the link between the way by which perceptual and motor memories are formed, modified and internally represented in the human brain and the resulting learning which enables skill improvements over time. The research involves a combination of psychophysics, non-invasive brain stimulation and neuroimaging techniques.
